Growing the game

A junior pickleball program founded in 2022 to get kids outside, active, and confident.
Kids outside, active, and confident.
Our mission is to encourage youth to get outside, exercise, and build both community and self-confidence through the game of pickleball.
Pickleball is accessible to anyone, regardless of athletic ability or experience, and can be learned quickly. That lets us reach a wider range of young people than most team sports, and build friendships that reach beyond the court.

Julie Stewart.
Founder & head coach • Certified pickleball instructor
Julie Stewart, SLP, is a certified pickleball instructor and former collegiate tennis player. For 28 years she has been a licensed rehab therapist working with adults. Her passion is helping others live a high quality of life, and learning that 80% of all disease is preventable led her to teach nutrition and pickleball.
Socialization is the number one factor for maintaining cognitive abilities, and pickleball has both the fitness and social components that help prevent illness. Julie focuses on her students having fun, making friends, and achieving the highest level of play they desire.
Volunteer with us.
We're always open to volunteers who want to help. For our players' safety, every volunteer is vetted before working with kids.
